Meows & Vows is licensed and insured for all of New England and can travel up to 4 hours away from Boston. We recognize that many New England couples choose to get married in scenic locations such as Vermont or Maine, so we are happy to bring your cat from your home to your venue and back again. If your venue is in the northeast and outside of these parameters still feel free to Contact Us and we can determine if our services would be a good fit for your event!

Yes! We can absolutely help with bringing your cat outside. There are some key safety precautions that must be adhered to at all times, including your cat wearing a harness and leash. Once your cat is in the care of Meows & Vows, from that point forward they will either be in their carrier, an enclosed playpen, or wearing a harness and on leash. Meows & Vows has a closet full of fun, rentable harnesses and leashes, and all are equipped with an AirTag for tracking purposes. Use one of our safety harnesses or have your own approved for use and your cat can participate outside!

Since everyone you love and trust is going to be with you on your big day, Meows & Vows is happy to take care of your cat’s nighttime routine upon arrival back at home. Let us clean the litter and feed your kitty so you have one less thing to worry about!

Unfortunately no, Meows & Vows is care for your cat only. That being said, we are happy to work with your professional photographer to help facilitate your desired photos with your cat.
-
While we love all animals and are licensed and insured for other household pets, Meows & Vows specializes in cats. There is a significant difference with the type of care and attention required for traveling with cats to an unfamiliar place in comparison to dogs and other pets. There are many services that provide wedding day and event services for dogs and few for cats. We are proud to fill this market gap and share our feline expertise!
-
Absolutely! Please reach out with the Contact Form and we will be happy to create a plan that works for all of your cats.

Just because your cat is difficult doesn’t mean we can’t work together, but we will likely need to set some expectations. It may be appropriate for your cat to only be present for a couple of photos in a quiet, enclosed environment, or your veterinarian may prescribe anti-anxiety medications to help ease your kitty through the day. Your cat won’t magically become the purrfect client just because it’s your big day, but we will likely be able to find a solution that keeps everyone healthy, safe, and happy. Please use the Contact Form for a free meet-and-greet to determine if it is possible for your cat to be a guest of honor at your event!

Unfortunately a meet-and-greet and contract are required prior to an official booking and guarantee of services. We will need to check availability for your event’s date, determine what type of services you are seeking, and see if your cat likes us! However, we are happy to work with your timeline. No matter if your event is a week or a year away, we can determine a date for the meet-and-greet and create the contract.
